I always enjoyed school, and I’ve found that teaching is a great way to continue to learn. I taught in South Korea, the Republic of Georgia, Myanmar, Vietnam and New Zealand before coming to Cambodia. I’ve mostly taught English, but I was also a mathematics and physical education teacher for one year. Cambodia seems like a really friendly place, and I can’t wait to explore it more.

I have my dream job and I really enjoy working here. Working at ACE has been a great opportunity for me to share, learn and grow.

I’ve been fascinated by languages since I started studying Japanese at high school. This fascination led me to a degree in linguistics and a career in English language teaching (ELT). I’ve taught in South Korea, Myanmar and New Zealand, and I’m happy to be able to add Cambodia to the list. I’ve worked with students from two to seventy-five years old, and I’m constantly impressed with the unique experiences and viewpoints that students bring to the classroom. I travelled through Cambodia in 2013, and always liked the idea of returning, so when the job at ACE popped up, I jumped at the chance.
