About the Author

Saoraksmey Kang is an ACE Inspiring Excellence Scholarships awardee and is currently majoring in Business Administration at Paragon University. Last year he graduated from Grade 12, receiving an overall Grade A in the national exam. He was an excellent history student. In this article, he will give you some useful advice on how to easily prepare for the upcoming BACII exam.

Begin Practicing

As the exam day approaches, you should try to review lessons and formulae for each exam subject, ensuring that you understand them. Last year, I completed as many exercises as I could for each subject.

Where to Find Materials

I found practice materials in books sold at general bookstores. I also downloaded some materials from online sources. Try to practice on previous test samples that the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) has uploaded every year since 2002. This is very useful for understanding more about the styles of question that often appear in BACII exams.

Focus on General Knowledge

I would also like to tell you how to obtain a high grade on history questions. It is important to focus on general knowledge. Finding and learning test questions from BACII 2014 to BACII 2018 can be very useful. MoEYS regularly uploads questions from previous tests so that students can practice and study. The same questions or similar questions often appear in consecutive tests.

Writing Your Answers

My final recommendation is to try to write as much as you can using your general knowledge, while ensuring that you do not write so much that your answers become irrelevant to the questions.

I hope the tips I have shared will help you to receive an excellent result in your exam. Throughout your BACII journey, remember to take care of your health. Good luck!
