Students who take the time to read regularly can be expected to not only improve their reading skills, but also their writing, speaking, listening, grammar and vocabulary. Reading contributes a lot to the improvement of English language learning.

Therefore, ACE teachers and students do a lot of work in the classroom to improve their reading ability. However, reading for fun outside of the classroom is also an excellent way to rapidly increase your English skills.

ACE initiated a Book Club to provide its students with more opportunities to read enjoyable and informative books in their free time. There are over 1000 titles of graded readers at the Book Club which are classified according to ACE study programs and by levels. Graded readers are easy readers which provide opportunities for relaxing and enjoyable reading. Below are the top ten readers in children and adult programs. You can also read the summary of “Peter Pan” and “But Was It Murder?” below.

Peter Pan is a fun and adventurous story about a boy with magic. He can fly and never grows up. This fictional character was created by Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie. Peter Pan spends his never-ending time in his childhood playing games on the small island of Neverland as the leader of his orphaned gang, the Lost Boys, interacting with fairies, pirates, mermaids, American Indians, and occasionally ordinary children from the realm outside Neverland. When Peter Pan meets Wendy, his friend Tinkerbell is jealous. Then Peter losses his shadow. Who will help him find it? With its great quality, the story has been filmed many times and has always been children’s best reader.
Alex Forley had everthing: good looks, money, a beautiful house in London, an attractive girlfriend and a close group of friends. But now hie is dead – an apparent case of suicide. Detective Inspector Rod Eliot isn’t sure Alex killed himself and he wants the answers to two simple questions. Was it murder? And if so, who did it? Paperback-only version. Also available with audio CDs including complete text recordings from the book.

We are looking forward to helping you find the right book or recommend a book for the appropriate level for you.
