The University has a mission to help feed the world, protect the future, and live well. Lincoln is one of eight universities in New Zealand and is governed by a Council. Lincoln University's Council is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the University and ensuring that all statutory requirements are met. The Council appoints the Vice-Chancellor who, as the Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for managing the key activities of the University. The delivery of teaching and research is the responsibility of Lincoln University’s three faculties and two divisions. With over 50 years proven expertise, the Lincoln University Conference and Professional development group knows what it takes to deliver. We are passionate about what we do and how we do it.

Our team runs on-site facilities to meet all client's needs, from venue or accommodation to catering and more. We work closely with our clients to deliver events that exceed expectations- creating unforgettable experiences and delivering outstanding results. Lincoln is known for the high number of students from around the globe, choosing to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level. We are a deliberately specialised University. And yet we are uniquely positioned to work alongside industry, our community, and people from around the globe, to achieve our mission. The issues we have identified are complex. And the opportunities are not rooted in a single solution, or the view of one discipline. We recognise a lot of challenges, both now and in the future, exist where those disciplines and demands run up against each other. So we are preparing our graduates to enter the land-based economy ready to come at these problems from more than one perspective, with the experience to negotiate between competing interests and balance demands to provide the best possible solutions.
