IDP International Education Tour arrives in Battamabang

The IDP International Education Tour (IET) arrived in Battambang province again on 5-6 October, 2017 and hosted info sessions at PUC and Dewey International School. The IDP Study Abroad and IELTS teams were happy to see so many, mainly university freshman, students join the events. We always enjoy sharing information about studying abroad and scholarship programs and explaining how we can assist the students to get to their dream country.

The IET tour aims to spread information about the IELTS test, studying abroad in five countries – Australia, USA, U.K, Canada and New Zealand, and also share information about upcoming scholarships for example, the UK Chevening scholarship, , New Zealand ASEAN Scholars Awards, Australia Awards etc. IDP has invited two alumni who earned their Masters degrees in the UK and New Zealand to share the experiences they faced during their studies and how they changed before and after their graduation abroad.

Over a hundred students joined us in Battambang and we received a warm welcome and very positive comments and feedback from them. They said it was such a nice event for them who are live in the province because it is quite hard for them to get such useful information which is not just easy to seek out on the internet. They could ask questions and listen to real people including our two alumni to share their real experiences. They strongly requested that IDP conduct this event once again in Battambang province and bring new topics and information to them.
