

Holmesglen Institute of TAFE
Since 1982, Holmesglen has grown from a delivery of 90 programs to 7,000 students, to a unique multi sectoral provider offering over 600 programs to more than 50,000 students. Holmesglen is a recognised leader in the provision of post compulsory education with a commitment to providing a professionally stimulating workplace for staff. Our major campuses are located at Chadstone, Moorabbin and Waverley. Holmesglen is one of the largest providers of vocational and higher education in Victoria.

Holmesglen Institute of TAFE was officially opened in February 1982 on the former site of Holmesglen Constructions in Batesford Road, Chadstone. The Institute was established under the Post-Secondary Act (1978) to provide a range of general TAFE programs for the community and basic training for all the trades associated with the building and construction industry. Since 1982, Holmesglen has grown from a delivery of 90 programs to 7,000 students, to a unique multi sectoral provider offering over 600 programs to more than 50,000 students. Holmesglen delivers internationally and nationally across four major campuses: Chadstone, City, Moorabbin and Waverley. Holmesglen's campuses offer over 600 courses in 10 different study areas from short courses, certificates, diplomas, degrees and graduate certificates and diplomas.

Holmesglen has been welcoming international students since 1987. Staff at the International Centre provide information, advice and documentation to current and prospective international students as well as a range of on-campus support services.
