Delhida Mony

Hello! My name is Delhida Mony. I was born in Phnom Penh. During my time as a university student, I studied a double degree majoring in Education at the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL) and Business Administration at Pannasastra University (PUC). After graduation, I did not become a teacher immediately.

Being in the soul-searching process, I worked in one of the international banks in Phnom Penh for one year just to realise that it is not my cup of tea. As teaching was still my passion, I then joined ACE. As of writing this, I have been teaching at ACE for two terms. Though having taught here for just a short period of time, I feel blessed to be able to work in an environment where I am surrounded by friendly, supportive, and understanding colleagues; not to mention all the smart and hardworking students. ACE is not only just the place I teach, but also where I learn.

New Teacher

Hi! My name's Douglas, and I'm from South Africa. I've been living in Phnom Penh for around 18 months now, and have been a teacher for over a year. I first started as a kindergarten teacher and worked part-time as a GEP teacher before coming to ACE. Before that, I used to work as an IT technician - I love technology and computers.

I studied at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa (yes, it's a real place, and a real university!), where I majored in Psychology and Classical Latin. I've always loved languages, so I decided to become an English teacher after graduating.

I've wanted to work for ACE ever since I first started doing some research on living in Cambodia, and now I've got my dream job! I'm very happy to be here, and I look forward to staying at ACE for a long time!

 Fandy Vall

Hello everyone! My name is Fandy Vall, a new teacher at ACE Santhormok Campus. I am just delighted to have the opportunity to teach at this high-standard school. Actually, after graduating from IFL, although I taught for six months at AII as teacher assistance, it was my first experience of real teaching when I started here, and there were a lot of obstacles. However, because of support from other teachers and many beneficial teaching facilities, I soon found my feet here and become a professional teacher.

It has never been easy for me to teach, but what inspires me the most is the students here who put a lot of effort in learning and sometimes give me some constructive feedback which has helped me grow. For me, teaching is like a long journey in a deep forest; it is difficult and has many things to learn but is worth to explore.

Kokking Eung

Hello all! I am Kokking Eung, a newly recruited teacher based at ACE Santhor Mok Campus. I was born and grew up in Phnom Penh. Back in 2011, I pursued my study at Institute of Foreign Languages, from which I graduated in 2015 with Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Before coming to ACE, I worked briefly as a volunteer program officer at a Korean organisation called KUCSS which brings Korean university students to Cambodia to participate in social services.

I decided to choose ACE as my workplace, and I am glad that I made the right choice. The high-standard facilities and exceptional instructional materials at ACE have helped me take my teaching to the next level. Above all else, the students are passionate and ready to learn new things, while at the same time my colleagues are very approachable and willing to share their experience. In a short period of time, I feel I have thrived so much in terms of both my personal and career development whilst maximising my potential as a teacher.

Panhchaneath Sokheng

Hi! I am Panhchaneath Sokheng. I was born in Phnom Penh. In regards to my educational background, I graduated from the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), majoring in Bachelor of Education. Before I became a teacher at ACE, I worked in a social project sponsored by the U.S Embassy in Cambodia to provide online English education to people residing in rural areas.

After working at ACE for almost six months, I feel that it is my all-time-favourite workplace as the working environment is very welcoming. My campus manager and co-workers are supportive and understanding. They have taught me to become a stronger individual both personally and professionally. On top of that, ACE also offers a lot of opportunities for me to showcase my potential and to develop certain skills that are beneficial for my career path.
