The Alumni Associations of Australia, Britain, America, and Japan, and the Cambodian-Australian Network of Students in Australia with support from IDP Education (Cambodia) jointly organised a project to raise fund to help those most affected by the recent devastating flood in Cambodia.

The Charity Night was held on 2 November 2013 at the National Institute of Education presided over by the Minister for Education, Youth, and Sport, HE Dr Hang Chuon Naron, and the Australian Ambassador, HE Ms Alison Burrows, and with guests of honour and over 450 participants.

The project received a total donation of $30,629 from main sponsors and over 2000 philanthropic individuals. A group of volunteers distributed the
relief supplies to 350 families in Oddar Meanchey province on 17 November 2013. The alumni associations are now identifying another targeted location.
