4th ACE Fun Run for the Environment is Happening in Battambang!

The Australian Centre for Education (ACE), which has been providing high quality English language training in Cambodia since 1992, is hosting the 4^th ACE Fun Run for the Environment in Battambang on 22^nd December, 2019 to raise funds to build hygienic toilets in rural public schools. This exciting event is organised by the ACE Social Committee and student volunteers in Battambang.

The 4th ACE Fun Run for the Environment has received tremendous support from the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, and the Battambang Provincial Hall.

The ACE Fun Run for the Environment is going to be an exciting event for the participants to create long-lasting memories with their family and friends. The event is a great opportunity to participate in a fun run around Sangke River in Battambang City, adopt a good habit of exercising, improve knowledge about environment, create memories, and win medals and many other prizes.

In order to encourage and improve the understanding of various issues related to health and environment, the event will also incorporate educational and fun activities after the run including slow bike race and educational sessions and games related to health and environment. There will also be an exhibition and photo booth where the participants can buy snacks and drinks as well as take fun photos with their friends and family.

During the previous ACE Fun Run for the Environment in 2018, there were more than 2500 participants. The fund raised from the event was used to serve charity and environmental causes. Similarly, this year, we’re expecting as many participants as the previous year including students, parents, government and non-government officials, and environment as well as exercise lovers.

Each ticket costs only 1 US Dollar. The price includes a t-shirt you can wear to participate in the run, a reusable water bottle, breakfast and a drink.
