I elected to take CDI over a paper-based IELTS test because I am a computer enthusiast, and therefore, I am comfortable using a computer. The CDI test was easy to access and navigate.

I chose CDI because I prefer typing over writing by hand. I felt nervous about taking CDI at first, but as soon as I entered the testing room, the IELTS staff put me at ease.

Technological advances have resulted in great shifts in how we do things. I feel comfortable using a computer, so the CDI experience was good for me. In the IELTS writing section, test-takers are able to edit their writing. Accordingly, there was no page flipping, and I didn’t have to worry about my handwriting being unclear.

The main reasons I chose CDI over a paper-based IELTS test are that I am comfortable with typing and my hearing is not good. With CDI, I had my own headphones while completing the IELTS listening section. When I first entered the CDI testing room, I felt nervous (I am used to taking tests on paper), but after ten minutes, I felt confident within myself.

I chose CDI because I am used to using a computer and my teacher recommended CDI. The CDI experience was exciting! I felt nervous, but overall, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend CDI: at home, before the test, I could take practice tests, which enabled me to familiarise myself with CDI. In my view, the IELTS test is a lot easier to navigate on a computer than on paper.

I chose CDI because test-takers receive their results almost immediately, which saves time. At first, CDI was unfamiliar to me, but I very quickly became comfortable with the experience.
